Terms of Use

1. 1.Acceptance of terms

   By using EV Gulf or creating an account, you agree to these Terms of Use and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. 2.Nature of the platform

   EV Gulf is an EV information and listings platform: a car guide, classifieds, auctions, and an owners' community. We are a technical intermediary only — we are not a seller, buyer, agent, or party to any deal between users, and we do not guarantee the completion of any sale.

3. 3.Accounts & eligibility

   You must be 18 or older to create an account and must provide accurate, up-to-date information.

   You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity on your account. We reserve the right to suspend or close violating accounts, and some usernames are reserved for the platform.

4. 4.Classifieds

   The seller alone is responsible for the accuracy of their listing: legal ownership of the vehicle, disclosure of any liens or encumbrances, and the accuracy of specifications, price, and photos.

   Fake, misleading, stolen, or unlawful listings are prohibited. We may reject or remove any listing without prior notice upon violation.

5. 5.Auctions

   Bidding is a serious commitment: by placing a bid you undertake to purchase at the final price if you win, per the published auction rules.

   The platform may cancel suspicious bids or violating auctions. Final settlement (payment and title transfer) happens directly between seller and winner, unless an announced escrow service is available.

6. 6.Payments & deposits

   In direct sales through classifieds, the platform does not receive or hold the vehicle price — payment happens directly between the parties.

   Any deposit or advance payment is by agreement between the parties and at their own responsibility. We always recommend a technical inspection, verifying official paperwork, and legally documenting any transfer before handing over any amount.

7. 7.Prohibited conduct

   Prohibited: impersonation, fraud and phishing, posting offensive or unlawful content, auction manipulation, automated scraping of user data, and disrupting or attempting to breach the platform.

8. 8.Content & intellectual property

   You retain ownership of the content you publish and grant us a non-exclusive license to display it on the platform and its channels in the context of providing the service.

   The EV Gulf brand and its editorial content (guides, analyses, curated data) belong to the platform and may not be republished commercially without permission.

9. 9.Information disclaimer

   Range figures, prices, charging specs, and guide content are indicative and may change by market, model, and conditions. Always verify with official sources before a purchase decision.

10. 10.Limitation of liability

    The platform is provided "as is". We are not liable for deals between users, listing content, or indirect damages arising from use of the platform, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. 11.Termination

    You may delete your account at any time, and we may suspend or terminate access upon breach of these terms. Provisions that by nature survive (such as limitation of liability) remain in effect after termination.

12. 12.Governing law & disputes

    These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait, whose courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, with both parties first seeking an amicable resolution.

13. 13.Changes & contact

    We may amend these terms and will post the updated version on this page with its date; continued use after an amendment constitutes acceptance of it.
