Xpeng Officially Launches G9L Flagship SUV in China at Discounted Pricing

Official guide pricing ranges from 241,800 yuan to 319,800 yuan, while time-limited offers extend from 231,800 yuan to 309,800 yuan across six variants.
The vehicle combines practical seating with premium cabin amenities. Measuring 5,120 mm in length and 1,999 mm in width with a 3,100 mm wheelbase, the G9L emphasizes rear-passenger comfort. Zero-gravity front and rear seats recline simultaneously to create a resting surface exceeding 1.8 meters without headrest removal. Interior features include a 21.4-inch rear entertainment screen, 12.5-liter dual-zone refrigerator, and rear center console with folding tables and wireless charging.
Battery-electric variants deliver CLTC ranges from 660 to 755 kilometers, with all-wheel-drive models achieving 0–100 km/h acceleration in as little as 4.45 seconds. Extended-range models employ a 1.5-liter turbocharged range extender paired with a 63.3-kWh battery, achieving 435 km electric-only range and 1,602 km combined range per CLTC standards.
All G9L variants standardize 800-volt platform architecture and 5C charging capability, enabling 10–80% charging in approximately 11 minutes. Engineering highlights include dual-chamber air suspension, variable-damping shock absorbers, and rear-wheel steering with a minimum turning radius of 5.4 meters.
Xpeng confirmed on September 11 that right-hand-drive production units had begun assembly at its Guangzhou facility for imminent shipment to Australia. The launch supports the company's strategic expansion target of 64 countries and regions, while domestically reinforcing efforts to surpass 60,000 monthly deliveries during the fourth quarter.
