Voyah will announce the Dream 9's variants and pre-sales pricing on September 5 at 10:00 am Beijing Time. The company canceled its traditional pre-sales launch event, instead directing potential buyers to showrooms nationwide for hands-on experience and test-drives. Chairman Lu Fang explained that this approach reduces unnecessary marketing competition while prioritizing customer experience and informed decision-making.
The flagship MPV incorporates advanced autonomous-driving technology, featuring a Level 3 autonomous-driving architecture and a Huawei-supplied 896-channel dual-path main LiDAR system complemented by three solid-state LiDAR units for blind-spot detection. These capabilities reflect deep technological collaboration between Voyah and Huawei.
The vehicle spans 5,325 mm in length, 1,998 mm in width, and 1,823 mm in height, with a 3,200 mm wheelbase. A distinctive feature is the world's first retractable illuminated hood ornament for an MPV segment vehicle, equipped with customizable raising and lowering functions and programmable welcome lighting sequences.
The plug-in hybrid variant combines a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with dual electric motors delivering 555 kW combined output and includes a 65-kWh battery pack. The battery electric version features front and rear electric motors with peak outputs of 175 kW and 300 kW respectively, paired with a 120-kWh battery pack. Both variants utilize an 800-volt high-voltage platform with CATL batteries standard throughout the lineup.
