Changan Nevo Q06 enters pre-sales phase starting at USD 22,000

Changan officially commenced pre-sales for the Nevo Q06 on September 4, 2026, during its SDA Pilot Technology Conference, introducing the proprietary SDA Pilot end-to-end intelligent driving system. All trim levels feature LiDAR integration, with the system available across four computational tiers ranging from 100+ TOPS to 1000+ TOPS. Pre-sale configurations span 149,900 yuan to 191,900 yuan (USD 22,000 to 28,200), with early-bird pricing from 147,900 yuan.

The vehicle's cornerstone is its 800V silicon carbide high-voltage platform supporting 6C rapid charging, capable of delivering 50% state-of-charge gain between 30% and 80% in 9 minutes. Powertrain offerings include a single-motor electric variant with outputs of 225 kW or 245 kW, a dual-motor RWD configuration producing 330 kW combined power and 0–100 km/h acceleration in 4.8 seconds, and a range-extender variant achieving combined autonomy to 1,600 km.

Lithium iron phosphate batteries from CALB or CATL provide four capacity options between 63.18 kWh and 80.02 kWh, enabling pure electric range up to 700 km. Interior amenities include a 15.6-inch rear entertainment display, refrigerator unit, and ventilated, heated massage seating throughout. The 4,837 mm length, 2,940 mm wheelbase design incorporates a 196-liter front trunk and 782-liter dual-layer rear cargo compartment, paired with aluminium double-wishbone front and five-link rear suspension architecture.
