BYD reveals official photos of second-generation Seal 07 sedan with enlarged dimensions

BYD has officially revealed the second-generation Seal 07, a mid-to-large sedan featuring substantial dimensional growth over the outgoing model. The new variant measures 5,080 mm in length (85 mm longer), 1,960 mm in width (50 mm wider), and 2,960 mm wheelbase (60 mm extended), while maintaining a constant height of 1,495 mm.

The exterior embraces the "Ocean Aesthetics 2.0" design language, incorporating a closed-grille front fascia and wave-shaped split headlights. The side profile exhibits clean, straight lines, a panoramic sunroof, and semi-concealed door handles. The rear adopts a full-width taillight assembly consistent with the front's design vocabulary.

The PHEV variant combines a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine delivering 115 kW with a 160 kW electric motor and a 38.029 kWh LFP battery pack, achieving a pure electric range of 245 kilometres under WLTC conditions. The battery-electric version employs a 300 kW motor, reaches 240 km/h maximum velocity, and delivers up to 718 kilometres of range per WLTP measurement.
